A therapist's hands working across a client's upper back in low, warm light

Mobile massage · Across London

A qualified massage therapist who comes to you.

He brings the table, fresh linens and oils to your home, hotel or office anywhere in London, and packs away again afterwards.

Or call 07438 427434. Same-day appointments, seven days a week.

An hour that actually undoes the week.

A qualified therapist comes to you with everything the treatment needs: table, fresh linens, oils and music. He sets up in a bedroom, a living room, a hotel room or an office, and packs away again afterwards.

It removes the parts of a spa visit that quietly undo the treatment. No cab across town, no car park, no waiting in a robe while the room ahead of you runs late, no glancing at the clock because the space is booked again straight after. The hour is yours, and it starts when it is meant to.

A treatment at home is a different kind of hour afterwards, too. You use your own shower, or skip it and go straight to bed. There is no journey home with the oil still on your skin and the tension already returning.

See prices for every treatment

  • No travelling afterwards. A spa treatment is often followed by twenty minutes in a cab or on the Tube, sitting upright with a bag on your shoulder, which puts back much of the tension that was just worked out. A mobile treatment ends where you already are, so the calm holds and you can lie still for as long as you like.
  • No waiting room. The appointment begins at the time you agreed, not whenever the client before you happens to finish. There is no front desk, no clipboard, no small talk while you wait. He arrives, sets up in about ten minutes, and the treatment time you booked is the treatment time you get.
  • The same therapist every time. Booking one person rather than an agency means he remembers what your shoulders were like last month, which side the tight hip is on, and how firm you actually want the pressure. Each session builds on the last instead of starting from a blank form with someone new.
  • The hour afterwards is spent at home. Instead of getting dressed and rejoining the day, you can stay horizontal, have a glass of water and let the treatment settle. An early evening slot followed by an early night is the most common booking, and the one that helps sleep most.

Not sure which to book? Tension that will not shift points to deep tissue. Stress and poor sleep point to Swedish. Training hard points to sports and recovery. Or read what massage helps with for a fuller answer by situation.

How it works

How booking works

  1. 1Message or callSend a WhatsApp message or call. Give your postcode or hotel and room number, the treatment length, and a preferred date and time. If you have an injury or a sore area, mention it now so the session can be planned around it.
  2. 2Confirmed fastYou will usually have a reply within the hour, between 8am and 10pm, confirming your time or offering the nearest slot. Same-day appointments are often possible.
  3. 3He arrivesHe comes about ten minutes early with the table, fresh linens, oil and a speaker, so setup does not eat into your hour. Before starting he checks what you want from the session and how firm you like the pressure.
  4. 4Clear a small spaceAny floor space of roughly two metres by one, with room to walk around one side; a bedroom or living room is ideal. Payment is by card, bank transfer or cash at the end.

Who books this

The people who book a therapist to come to them

Most bookings come from a handful of situations. Desk workers who have carried the same knot in one shoulder for years and want it worked on without giving up an evening to travel. People training for a marathon, a triathlon or a first ultra, who need regular work on their legs and hips through a training block. Hotel guests and business travellers who would rather be treated in the room than find a spa in a city they do not know well.

There are also new parents who cannot easily leave the house, people whose sleep has come apart under a stiff neck or lower back, and clients coming out of a heavy stretch at work who want two unhurried hours with nowhere to be afterwards. If your reason is not on that list, it is almost certainly one he has heard before.

What makes this different

One therapist, not an agency

Every appointment is with Mohamed Mourad. There is no pool of contractors and no chance of a different person arriving. He holds an ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Massage, is fully insured, and has certificates available on request. He has been practising for twelve years, first in Cairo and now across Central London.

The treatment is built around you rather than a fixed routine. Pressure is set to what you ask for and adjusted as he goes, the focus follows where the tension actually is, and the balance of firm and lighter work changes from one session to the next as your body does. Booking the same person each time is what makes that possible.

He is based in Kilburn, NW6, between Kilburn and South Hampstead. Travel is included for any address within five miles of it, which covers Kilburn, Maida Vale, St John's Wood, Swiss Cottage, West and South Hampstead, Queen's Park, Hampstead, Marylebone, Notting Hill, Fitzrovia, Primrose Hill and most of the West End. From five to twelve miles there is a £15 travel charge, and from twelve to twenty miles it is £30. Mayfair, Belgravia, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Kensington, Soho, the City, Islington, Hampstead Heath, Canary Wharf and Richmond all sit inside the twenty mile limit.

How far ahead to book depends on where you are and when you want to be seen. For visits in Kilburn, Maida Vale and St John's Wood, same-day or next-day is often fine. For weekend mornings, early evenings anywhere, and addresses towards the edge of the area, a day or two of notice makes a slot much more likely.

Further afield is usually possible, ask.
